The Yoga Institute, Mumbai, was founded by Shri Yogendra ji in 1918, and is the oldest organized center of Yoga in the world. Shri Yogendra ji wanted the Institute to be accessible to all those willing to inculcate yoga into their life for healthy and better living. With simplified Yogic techniques, he introduced Yoga to householders and for this he is rightly known as the Father of Modern Yoga Renaissance.
